BAC Water (bacteriostatic water) by Peptiva Labs® is sterile water for laboratory use containing 0.9 % benzyl alcohol. The benzyl alcohol is bacteriostatic, meaning it inhibits bacterial growth in an opened vial. This allows multiple sterile withdrawals from the same 3 ml vial over a period of up to 28 days, unlike plain sterile water, which is intended for single use only.
Ideal for reconstituting our lyophilised peptides: the vial with a pierceable septum allows clean, measured withdrawal. By the way, we include a BAC Water free of charge with every vial ordered from us; this product is for anyone who needs extra supply.
A Certificate of Analysis (COA) is available for every batch: HPLC purity, identity confirmed by mass spectrometry, batch number and analysis date. You can obtain the COA for your order via your customer dashboard or on request from our support team.
